Headline News

We are currently displaced as the EOC room and entire lower level of the court house is being remodeled. We have been told this will take up to 2 years. While this is happening our mobile unit and equipment are at the Hazmat response building near Manawa. Our monthly meeting will be held at Waupaca Fox Valley Tech Building 1979 Godfrey Drive, Waupaca, WI  54981 . Waupaca County ARES/RACES is excited to see the new technology that the remodel will bring into the E.O.C. at the courthouse building. Thank you all for your patience while this takes place.

The Waupaca County ARES/RACES Repeater 147.390 : Thanks to Zack Van Aston The Waupaca County Emergency manger. The 147.390, PL 118.8 Repeater is being updated and is working much better. We will be using this repeater more often and may make the switch back to 147.390 as our primary repeater in the near future. stay tuned for further updates.

KX9RT Scott has been hard at work updating the KX9RT 146.925 repeater. Updates include Allstar Link, Echo Link, and DMR. you can contact Scott via email if you have question or need to know how to gain access and or operate any of those modes, his email is good on QRZ.com. You can also thank Scott by contacting him and sending a donation, with all these new updates it can get pricy for all the upkeep that is involved in owning and operating a large repeater. Thank you Scott.
